The
Story of the Gemini Twins The Ace-
DeAntae “Castor” Grixby
DeAntae was in his senior year of college and had forgotten about pledging a fraternity. He had investigated other organizations, but there was no connection in addition to a couple of bad experiences. Then Iota Phi Theta called. The brothers of Iota refused to let DeAntae leave school without taking a look at an organization that makes a difference on campus and in the community. DeAntae thought about it and decided to pledge Iota without any doubt in his mind that he was making the right decision. The Deuce- Jermaine “Pollux the Intense” Jones
Jermaine had totally written off fraternity life. Much like his line brother, Castor, Pollux had a few bad experiences with other organizations and decided pledging was not for him. Once again, the brothers of Iota Phi Theta came knocking. They showed a high interest in what Jermaine was doing in his personal life and thought this would be a good match for him. Jermaine pondered on pledging this new organization on campus at the time and decided to go ahead and reach a new milestone in his life. You might ask why Jermaine’s name is Pollux the Intense. Well, get to know him and he will tell you why. After a long search, Jermaine Jones
and DeAntae Grixby finally found the organization that would graciously
welcome them. On the morning of May 22, 2003, at
5:55am, Jermaine Jones and DeAntae Grixby began their journey to IOTA land at
the house of Brother Tony “Str8” Williams.
Their Dean of Pledges was the talented Brother Lawrence “Raging Sea”

Gemini Twins, which are the two most northern stars in the sky, Pollux and
Castor. They finally found the great land of IOTA and crossed the burning
